ABOUT THE TOUR
EXPERIENCE THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF LOCH LOMOND, LUSS & OBAN
The tour starts with picking you up from your hotel or location.
Our first stop is to visit the world famous Edinburgh Castle, and explore the City with stops at the Royal Mile, the Old Town, Grassmarket.
We will then make our way towards the Kingdom of Fife which is also known throughout the world as the Home of Golf.
We will then visit St Andrews, before taking the coastal route to see quaint villages such as Crail, Anstruther and Elie before making our way back to the capital or your accommodation.

Edinburgh Castle
Edinburgh Castle is host to the oldest crown jewels in the Europe. The Castle is one of the most exciting historic sites in Western Europe. Set in the hear of Scotland’s dynamic capital, it is sure to capture your imagination. The scenery will take your breath away. The Castle is one of the oldest fortified places in Europe. It has a long rich history as a royal residence, military garrison, prison and fortress. You will walk in the footsteps of soldiers, kings and queens.
Forth Road Bridge
The Forth Bridge is one of Scotland’s major landmarks and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This magnificent railway bridge was built between 1883 and 1890 by Sir John Fowler, Benjamin Baker and over 4,500 men. The three Forth Bridges are an impressive sight as they across the Firth of Forth, as well as providing transport links between Edinburgh and Fife. Considered to be an impressive feat in engineering, it was designed on the cantilever principle, and its three towers are over 100 metres high. It stretches 2.5 kilometres.
St Andrews, Fife (The Home of Golf)
St Andrews, Scotland’s world-famous Home of Golf, is known for its historic university, medieval streets and gorgeous traditional buildings. This is the place where the game of golf was invented, way back in the 15th century. Standing proudly on the east coast and less than two hours from Edinburgh and Glasgow, the town is filled with exciting things to see and do, from St Andrews Cathedral.
There are ten golf courses in St Andrews. If you wish to change the itinerary, we may even be able to get you on one of the famous links courses – some of the finest and most authentic links courses in the world. If you would prefer, we can visit the quaint town, the university and more.
Exploring Fife
Fife is known for its charming villages and towns scattered along the coast and countryside. When we depart St Andrews we will drive to Crail, Anstruther and Elie. There’s much more to Fife that will spoil urban travellers and explorers.
Fife Coast and Countryside Trust manage many stunning beaches around the Kingdom of Fife, 14 of which hold prestigious Scotland’s Beach Awards.
Crail – is a historic fishing village in the pretty East Neuk of Fife. Charming, cobbled streets tumble down to the miniature harbour, which is sheltered by cliffs and surrounded by historic fishing cottages. Crail is a historic fishing village on the East Neuk of Fife coast and is well worth a visit.
Anstruther – is a charming fishing village in the East Neuk of Fife, popular with day-trippers and holidaymakers. Anstruther is the largest in a string of pretty, old-fashioned fishing villages along the stretch of Fife coast known as the East Neuk. Perhaps the top attraction is simply tucking into a quality fish supper from the Anstruther Fish Bar, which in recent years has won a number of awards including UK Fish and Chip Shop of the year. Enjoy the locally caught fish by the harbour as fishing boats land their catch.
Elie – is a picturesque seaside resort, Elie is gathered around a curve of golden sand. The
harbour, established in the 16th century, is a popular with yachts and small pleasure craft while the surrounding bay is popular with windsurfers and bathers. The town is also home to two fantastic golf courses. James Braid, celebrated golf course designer and five times winner of the British Open Golf Championship in the early 20th century was born in here. Elie has many interesting historic buildings, some of which date back to the 17th century.

We will take a scenic drive back to your accommodation where you will have time for a
refreshment and a review of the wonderful photos that you have taken of a full, yet most
enjoyable tour of Edinburgh & The Kingdom of Fife.

The tour can last as long as you want.
Typically, it will last around 8 hours depending on what you want to cover.
If you want to cover more in a full day tour, this can be accommodated with prior notice.
